As we stride into 2012, it's time write the latest chapter in the success story known as Amplifed. With the Portsmouth parties perpectually increasing in popularity, we are spreading love along the South Coast with a new monthly event at one of Southampton's top venues - Amplified Sessions at Pop, Southampton.
In true Amplified style, we will be bringing you nothing but the best in game, from tried and tested legends to the rising stars of tomorrow's scene. We are very pleased to announce that for March's opening event we welcome guest headliners, The Hoxton Whores!
Over that past ten years, these guys have more than earned their place on the list of dance music royalty. They have worked with, remixed and collaborated with some of the scene’s leading stars such as Deep Dish, Faithless, Robbie Rivera, Danny Howells and Moloko and their tracks have been picked up by the world’s biggest labels including; MOS, Hed Kandi, EMI, Manifesto, Subliminal, Black Hole and Toolroom.
Their unique and energetic sets have seen them hold residencies at some of the best club nights worldwide and in the UK, along with 2 summer residencies at Eden Ibiza. Major gig highlights include headlining the MTV Dance festival in Slovakia (15,000 people), playing Glastonbury UK, headlining the H20 Festival South Africa (15,000 people), Colors Festival Helsinki and Webster Hall NYC.
It goes without saying that we are more than just excited to have them headlining such an intimate venue for the Amplified following!
